This policy explains what personal data Nandlal Jewellers (“we”, “us”), Gandhi Chowk, Shiva Basti, Gangashahar, Bikaner, Rajasthan 334401, collects through this website (www.nandlaljewels.com) and when you contact us, and how we use it. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

1. Information we receive

When you browse the website

Like every website, our hosting servers automatically record technical information for each visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages and images requested, and the date and time. We use this only to run the website securely, prevent misuse and fix problems. These logs are kept for about 30 days and then deleted automatically.

Your shortlist

Designs you save with the ♡ button are stored only in your own browser on your device. They are not sent to us. You can clear them at any time from the shortlist page or by clearing your browser data. If you choose to send your shortlist on WhatsApp, the message is sent by you through WhatsApp.

When you contact us

If you message us on WhatsApp, call us or email us, we receive the details you share, such as your name, phone number, email address and the designs you ask about. We use them only to answer your enquiry, arrange a visit, share design details and, for trade enquiries, discuss business with you. We keep these conversations for as long as needed for that purpose and for our normal business and legal records, and then delete them.

2. Cookies

This website does not set cookies. The Google Map on our Contact page loads only when you tap “Show map”; Google may then set its own cookies under the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Services we use

• Google Cloud and Firebase (Google) host the website (servers in Mumbai, India, with Google’s global network delivering pages and photos).
• Google Drive stores our design photographs. It does not store visitor data.
• WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook (Meta) and Google Maps are used only when you choose to open them. Their own privacy policies apply to what you do there.

We do not share your personal data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

4. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct, complete or update it;
• delete it, or withdraw consent you gave us;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights for you.

Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

5. Security

The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, access to our systems is restricted and protected with two-step verification, and we keep the data we hold to a minimum.

6. Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
